Chapter 117. The Search
Steven and the lunar Knights went about the back ends, asking from house to house if the residents had seen me, but each person they asked gave them the same answer—no. They searched for hours, checking wooden homes and shops to see if I was hiding, but their efforts were to no avail. They made threats against the people and flashed posters with a painting of me, and the price of capturing me would win them, but it still didn’t work. Word quickly spread throughout the back-ends, and people started to gossip about me and the Lunar Knights. People whose homes and shops were raided angrily spoke evil about the lunar knights, calling them names as they rode away.
Hours passed, and the sun started to set. The lunar Knights reconvened at the junction they separated from before, pulling on the reins of their horses to stop them. The horses reared, neighing loudly before returning their forehooves to the ground.
