Chapter 191. Siege Plan

“The land of Eldridge has vastly superior defenses compared to Luminaria and Trol, coupled with a population as high as Valtoria’s. That means even as humans like us, they are just as dangerous as the supernaturals,” General Ralph started, using a wooden cane to point at wooden miniatures on a map lying on the table. The miniatures represented the thirteen cities of Eldridge clustered on and around a large mountainous area northeast of Valtoria.

Ralph spoke at a round table to the six other generals of Valtoria and four generals from the kingdoms of Sol and Venus.

King Japhet sat on the opposite end of the table, staring as Ralph explained a strategy both of them had come up with to invade and take over Eldridge. His mind had strayed away from the meeting, pondering on the whereabouts of his eldest son, Desmond, who had disappeared with his right-hand maiden and hadn’t returned in the past five days. Whether he was dead or alive was a mystery to the few
