Chapter 24. Lost in a Dream?

Nikolas felt intoxicated in her loving embrace and, for the first time in his life, he felt wanted. It was an out of the world feeling and he pulled her closer into his body. He knew it was wrong, as she wasn’t in her senses. She might consider him to be a dream, but he was helpless. He was a man who had discovered new feelings, new desires that he never thought existed inside him.

Soon he dozed off to a blissful sleep, inhaling her sweet scent, wrapped up in her arms. He knew he had to leave early before she woke up, so he might as well make the most of what he had.

Just like the previous night, Nikolas woke up in the wee hours of the morning and reluctantly left her. Trudging up the stairs to his room, he locked the door after him.
