Chapter 19
“What’s this all of a sudden?” Tornwell asked with a confused look as some of Arthur’s soldiers pointed their blasters at him and the kids.
“Things just keep getting better and better!” Ivory thought, staring at Arthur, who still had his sword pointed at the king.
“Stop this nonsense at once, Arthur! We can work this out!” the king said with a worried look. The priest stood a safe distance away to avoid getting hurt, and the soldiers stationed along the aisle pointed their blasters at the remaining civilians who refused to flee.
“My family has worked tirelessly to reach the royal class, and now that we have this chance, your daughter wants to ruin it. I can’t allow that! I’m going to become king, even if it means killing you to get it,” Arthur said.
