The question rang in Ethan’s head. He had never really thought about what he would do if that happened. Ever since he left Terra-Zeldra, all he thought about was searching for his parents, never wondering if they were actually alive or not.

He pondered over the question for a couple of seconds, then said to Kathrin with a smile, “Well, I’m not really sure what I’d do if that happened, but I know that as long as there’s a chance that they’re still alive, I will stop at nothing to find them.”

A smile grew on Kathrin’s face. “You’ve got guts. I like that.”

“So, which way are we going next?” Ethan asked, and Kathrin pulled up a map on the holographic screen.

“According to the map, we’re going east from here,” Kathrin said.

“And what direction is that?” Ethan asked.

Kathrin pulled out a compass and placed it on a desk in front of them. “Looks like it’s that way…” Kathrin said, pointing to an angle on the left side of the vehicle.
