"We were survivors of the first storm; he was a young soldier, and I was only six years old. He took care of me for some time, but we got separated after all the survivors turned into vicious, destructive monsters. Before the storm, my father moved to Terra-Zeldra for work, leaving me and my mother in Chrysoverse. How I ended up in Terra-Zeldra, I can’t remember, but I did, 50 years ago. I found my father and joined the academy.”
“Wow, that’s… a lot. So you’re from Chrysoverse,” Ethan said, his mind completely blown.
Delilah raised her head again and stared at the moonlight with a smile on her face. “It was nice seeing him again. I hope he’s resting peacefully wherever he is.”
Ethan let out a sigh, then asked, “Are you gonna be okay?”
