Nolan’s POV

After Genevieve left, I walked towards my room. She might have thought that she ran away and escaped me but she didn’t. I was the one who let her go because I was confused by my feelings. She was so close to me, I could feel her breath on my face and her scent invading my senses. It took every ounce of control I had left in me not to devour her. If it were any other girl in her shoes, it would have been a different scenario but with her, I couldn’t bring myself to do that. My jumbled thoughts were what led me to let her go.

The door suddenly beeped signaling that someone had entered. I turned around.

"Jackson? What are you still doing here?" I inquired wondering why he wasn’t at his own house by that time of the night.

"Is that a way to welcome your father?" I halted in my steps when I heard that voice. His face soon comes into view.
