I kept tossing and turning in my bed throughout the night the previous day. I couldn’t sleep early because I kept thinking about why Owen and Nolan hated each other that much. It didn’t make sense for them to hate each other like that over something trivial. No matter how hard I thought, I couldn’t wrap my head around the reason. It seemed very serious. They both could never stay in the same room with each other. So much hatred and hostility but what was the cause?

I continued to ponder deeply over it as I walked down the school hallway. I could sense it was a delicate topic which was why I never asked them both about it. I would have to find out on my own. But how? I was new in this pack and didn’t know anyone to ask about it or… maybe I do. The only people who would know about them were the ones that started school with them right from the beginning.
