"You can talk to me, Hazel."
Maybe I could talk to her, but I didn’t know if I wanted to. I was a bit angry with her too, for teaming up with Alpha Arthur to lie to me.
I had a right to know who I was and why they needed me. Why did the Alpha need me? If they wanted to use me, I deserved to know that too. I might be lesser and of no class, but that didn’t annihilate the fact that I was a human.
