Chapter 29. Rain

Richard almost ran to find Winona, when suddenly Winona appeared by herself from behind a chocolate shop. She came out with two chocolate bars. Her face was shocked to see Richard, who was panicking.

“You!” Richard exclaimed.

“Wh-what’s wrong?” Winona asked confusedly. She frowned at Richard, who was holding two ice cream cones, but his face was completely panicked and now turned to anger.

However, Richard didn’t want to admit that he was worried about Winona and almost threw his ice cream on the ground just now. Winona must not know how panicked Richard was just now. Richard sighed and looked away.

“Sit down!” cried Richard in a cold tone of voice.

Winona then stepped closer to Richard while carrying the two chocolate bars she had just bought. She then sat down next to Richard on the bench. Richard still looked angry as he handed Winona one vanilla ice cream.
