Chapter 184. The Crate of Beer

I walked down the hallway with my body shaking. Not because I was cold or anything, but because I was shaken by what I had just witnessed. I still could not get it out of my head and I hated that. 

I walked by a bunch of people partying and enjoying themselves and decided to take the backway out of the villa. I did not want to run into Storm and I had a feeling that the chances of doing that would be even higher if I were to use the front door to leave. 

I made my way past the second kitchen and when I reached the hallway that would lead to the door that led out of the huge house, I sighed in relief. 

I continued walking until I reached the door, but when I opened it, my eyes fell on someone. It was Mark. He had a crate of beer in his hand and looked like he was bringing it in before running into me. 

“Rue?” He seemed surprised. “What—when did you come back?” He stammered a bit.
