Chapter 11. Wake Up

After dinner, Jake helped me to bed to rest. He stayed with me throughout the night, taking care of me. I know it might sound stupid. But during Jake's stay, I wished for Dean's company. I despised Dean with all my heart. At other times, I felt the need to have him close. Dean, to me, was bad, selfish, and a traitor, but I still loved him. My heart couldn't stop loving Dean quickly, no matter how hard I tried.

Dean had been my first great love, my entire life, and the father of my children. This wouldn't be an easy path for me.

I woke up the next day. Jake brought me breakfast in bed. He sat beside me and smiled kindly. How nice.

"How are you feeling today? Can you see properly?" he asked.

"I'm feeling better," I smiled, taking a sip of tea.
