Winter’s POV

The time came for us to present ourselves and the dress we had made. I made my entry first in front of Lordan, Lucas, the dowager, and some other high-ranking officials in the castle. The loud booming sounds of the drum came to a stop as I was ushered into the floor.

I made my own way and began parading the square from right to left and front to back, which was to be done in order for the full potential of the dress to be noticed. After walking around, I returned to stand at the center of the square and then began to address the gathered audience.

“This dress,” I began, “is woven from the purest white wool, symbolizing the purity and integrity that should be upheld by every member of our inner court.”

“The gold threads interwoven with it represent the invaluable wisdom and leadership our head provides.”

I paced gracefully to allow my dress to flow with me as I elaborated on each detail.
