Winter’s POV

Looking at the valley from a mountaintop, not from below, was a proverb, one about not jumping to conclusions about people, but this situation felt different. Something just wasn’t adding up.

Why could Father have said that to me? Could there really be a chance that he was right? I had seen more than enough negativity from Lordan to believe otherwise.
