Riley's POV

It's been about three months since Ash and I started dating. I still remember the night he had to run back to his workplace. I was so consumed in my thoughts about the discussion I had with my mother that I found it difficult to sleep. 

I even tried doing something work-related but it wouldn't help so I did what was surprising to everybody including me. I moved to Ash's office. To be sincere, he enjoyed seeing me there, evidenced by the smirk he wore on his face. I slept in the bedroom he had in his office and I think it was his warmth that helped me. 

And regarding my mother, I'm happy she took my suggestion. Diane was living happily with Christian and I was hoping for it to remain that way. She did not need any distractions in her life or anything that would make her uncertain in her life especially with Bryan growing up so fast.
