“She’s stable now. Practically out of harm’s way… Yeah, I’ve been able to see her. She hasn’t woken up yet though… Trevor was here; he left a while ago… No, no fights.” She giggled. “They were actually happy to see each other. I was also scared of the possible friction…” Tiana said something, and she laughed. “How was the presentation?… That’s fine. I’ll see you later then. Bye.” She ended the call and walked back into the room.
Zara was still unconscious. It broke her heart to see her like that; she looked so small, so fragile in that bed. Tears welled up in her eyes as she approached the bed. She was too young to have experienced something like this; she had barely even started living. She had broken a bone in her arm, almost cracked a rib, and had bruises all over. Thankfully, it was nothing that would cause permanent damage.
