Chapter 26. Rejected

It was already six in the evening, and Lily was now near the center of Groove Avenue, holding a Barista's coffee. The courage she had earlier suddenly shaken as soon as she saw Jacob walking around their meeting place and looking around.

Lily had a dilemma about whether just to ditch him or not. She began to panic but needed to calm down and think straight. So, she took a deep breath a few times and said to herself in her mind, 'Calm down, Lily! Calm down, and just be yourself.'

On the other hand, Jacob was constantly checking his watch for the time because it was already the time Lemon had set for them to meet, but he couldn't find her until now.

He thought Lemon might be just a little late, so he waited a little longer. Then, when the excitement struck him again, he scanned the crowd to look for someone holding a Barista's coffee. Not long after, he finally found someone having one and was approaching him.

"Lemon?" Jacob m
