Chapter 40. Hello, Father
Isabella’s mind was plagued with fear and what-ifs. The feeling of dread pooling in her stomach was way worse than the almost breakdown she suffered when her designs in fashion school went missing.
It had only been a few hours since she woke up, but the nervousness was getting too much to handle.
“You’ll be fine. Just breathe,” Alexander provided moral support. “He’s…nice.”
