Chapter 6. Hell Hath No Fury…
“How could you?” James gasped dramatically as he watched his friend. Their position could easily pass as two gossiping teens huddled in a corner while sharing the latest tea. Except that Alexander’s face was in its usual stoic expression as James stared at him in disbelief.
“You poured red hair dye into her shampoo?” he asked for what seemed to be the hundredth time.
“She deserves it,” Alexander shrugged. “Besides, it matches her personality,” he added.
“On a scale of one to ten, how livid was she?” James asked.
Alexander paused his actions, giving James a thoughtful look.
“Fifteen,” he finally answered. “She was so pissed off; her face matched the hair.”
“I can’t believe you did something as spontaneous as this,” James shook his head, still unbelieving.
“I can be spontaneous if I want to be,” Alexander faced his laptop. “Now leave,” he made a waving motion with his hand. “I have work to do.”
