Chapter 8. I See Red
When Alexander arrived home last night, the she-devil had acted a bit weird.
No. Not the usual kind of weird, but definitely much weirder than normal.
She had been closely inspecting what turned out to be a wooden spatula, eyebrows drawn in concentration like the piece of wood was the most interesting thing she had ever come across.
This action should’ve made Alexander even more aware and maybe worried about her mental health, but he had waved it off as something Isabella just loved to do on her best days.
Act demented.
The next morning started off as every other monotonous day: the same old routine in different phases. He woke up to the same view, the red digital numbers on his alarm clock and the other side of the bed cold and untouched.
