Chapter 7. Revenge Best Served Pink
“I can’t believe we did that,” Isabella’s mouth moved robotically, unable to comprehend the gravity of what she just did.
Scratch that.
What they just did.
Let it be written in stone that she would be chopped up by Alexander, fed to his pet dragons, and her soul forever locked in the gates of hell.
Jane rolled her eyes, for seemingly the millionth time, as she tried scrubbing off a splotch of pink from her shirt.
“How did I let you talk me into this?” she asked an uncaring Jane. “Oh. I’m done for.”
Alexander opted to ride to work in his friend’s car after James had parked on the curb, the engine still running idly while honking loudly. Alexander, who had seemed unfazed by the crazy behavior, strutted gracefully to him. By the time Alexander walked back in from work, he would wish he had taken his car along.
“Don’t be dramatic, chica,” Jane finally gave up, letting the stain sit there as she faced Isabella.
