Chapter 15. Reasons
Isabella may be all sunshine and rainbows, but she was no fool. Jane’s dislike for Jasmine didn’t just go unnoticed. She had hoped that ignoring the problem would make it all go away, but her little plan had flopped.
Jane still threw Jasmine the occasional suspicious glances, narrowing her eyes in Jasmine’s direction as though expecting her to suddenly sprout a pair of horns.
Isabella loved them both, and asking her to choose might be the hardest choice she’d have to make.
Then, her mind drifted to Alexander. He had warned her about Jasmine; maybe after noticing how her plan hadn’t worked out, he decided to poison Jane’s mind.
Isabella felt the growing anger. She tried to distract her mind, facing the book she was reading.
