Chapter 6. She Was Bitten

Selena nodded her head. “No, Xavier.” She spoke quietly. If Xavier is close, Selena will always act calmly. “It’s all right. I’m fine. You know what? I had no business being here in the first place. “I’m going to leave.” She turned around and ran out of the room, and Xavier was unable to pursue her since Jazmine had held him back. 

Selena collided with someone while running and fell, but the other person grabbed her. She was terrified and gasping for air, but she was also relieved that she hadn’t died. She lifted her head and looked at the person who had helped her. When she finally obtained a glimpse of the person’s face, her heart began to beat quickly. She wondered at first, “How could someone be this beautiful?”

The man was attractive and tall. Selena questioned how a man with such beauty could have been made by god since he possessed a face that could make women swoon. His flawless lips were calling out to her. He was dressed in black pants
