Chapter 8
Henry walked from ward to ward, checking on the less privileged kids. He had gone to the hospital from home, talked to the doctor, and they told him the amount the kids needed for their operation. The money was wired to the doctor. He drove out of the hospital and went to an orphanage home, greeted and played with the kids, also donated money for them, and left. That’s why people loved him so much; he was so kind, a philanthropist, and he helped the needy all the time.
He got to his office and entered with his usual stern look that sent shivers down the workers’ bodies. He was almost at the elevator when a worker bumped into him mistakenly. He glared at her, and she quickly went on her knees, rubbing her palms together.
“I’m sorry, sir, please forgive me, please,” the lady said and burst into tears. She knew what awaited her already.
