Chapter 100. The Return
Hunter’s POV
I didn’t anticipate humans looking at me the way Dolly and the others did; I was protecting them from the werewolf… or so I had thought.
I beat him relentlessly; he gave up, but I kept punching and cutting him with my sword, which then broke in half with the final swing.
I wasn’t expecting them to cheer, but I definitely wasn’t expecting them to call me a monster.
The way I brutally beat him with bloodlust seeping out from every pore in my body—I usually use my rage when fighting werewolves, especially the Krent pack members. But this wolf wasn’t much of a threat; I could have probably made him retreat with a single punch… But I let my fury get the better of me.
But this wasn’t normal rage… It felt more animalistic… My blue eyes turned bright purple when I attacked… But now they were blue again.
“Monster! Hey, away from here! Away from my family!” Mr. McDonald said, throwing a bucket of water at me.
