Chapter 99. The Boy’s Lament

Hunter’s POV

Just a few days after leaving the Femino pack village and saying goodbye to Charlotte, I found myself in an unfamiliar forest. I knew that Solarium could be found as long as you went east, but I was going the wrong way.

I also noticed something different; my hair was longer now. Well, I haven’t cut it in months, similar to how some beasts were. I am a hybrid; maybe that’s why.

My equipment was also not in the best shape. I was still wearing the white tunic I had gotten from the Aztec werewolves, and I had my rusted armor on top of it. It turned the white into a dirty yellow. My short sword was also chipped; it would probably last me one more battle before breaking.

I had already gone through a lot with this blade, fighting Lancer, the faux Lycan during the summit meeting, and then the battle against Rafael. The blade withstood getting hit by pure lightning just so it could help me land the final blow on that crazy guy. I thank you for ever
