Chapter 25. The Wolf and the Hunter
Charlotte’s POV
We had actually been up for the entire day, and it was morning when the hunter opened his eyes.
“Good morning, how was your nap?” I asked. It was definitely a silly question, but I hoped it would lighten the mood.
“Good morning… Wait… You!” he shouted as he tried to move his arms to find out he was tied up to a chair.
“Oh… I see, so you are a werewolf.”
“Yes, sorry for… knocking you out, but I couldn’t let you kill my sisters.” That was a fact.
He hissed, “All I wanted was to kill the Alpha. I didn’t want to get mixed up in this… Whatever you’ve got going on!”
He was not thrilled to be here, it seemed.
“Oh my, what a strong-headed fella. What’s your name, boy?” Trinity asked, still looking at him seductively.
“I won’t answer to you, beast. I’m only even talking to this one because she beat me. That’s my code.”
“Okay, listen, Hunter.” I got closer and placed my hand on his shoulder.
