Chapter 27. Master and Pupil

Hunter’s POV

I didn’t hesitate; I took the strange man’s offer, and he led me far away from the mountain, far away from my old life. I left behind everything—my home and my name. I simply lived for revenge, revenge against those horrible creatures known as werewolves.

He took me to a huge town known as Solarium. It was a town that worshiped the sun goddess Solaris. There, he brought me to a massive green cathedral with the sun symbol all around.

The people there were praying to Solaris for different things. Some wanted more money, others wanted a long life, and some were just there to bask in her light.

At this point, I didn’t care. All I wanted was revenge; I could care less for religion.

The man brought me to the priest in charge of the cathedral. “Oh, praise the sun! If it isn’t Mr. Holy Knight, back with another illegitimate child, I assume?”
