Chapter 67. The Full Moon

After finishing his conversation with Max, Shawn pondered for a moment behind his desk. Frankly, Shawn was concerned about what Zoey’s biological father had said. Because Buffalo had mentioned that there would be a ritual on the upcoming full moon night.

Quickly, Shawn got up and left his office. After saying goodbye to his colleagues in the office, Shawn headed straight for the parking lot. Shawn’s main goal was to ask Buffalo to stop the ritual.

Once in his car, Shawn immediately contacted his uncle.

“Hello? Uncle?” Shawn greeted.

“Oh, hello. Are you checking on your two clients? They’re fine,” Buffalo replied.

“That’s not what I want to discuss.”

“I’m busy, Shawn. We’re getting ready to go to the forest for the ritual. Can you call me after the ritual?”
