Chapter 36. Diagnosis
DOVE
His skin heat hypnotized me, leaving me melted before him, with my body completely relaxed and my desire to stay by his side for a lifetime. He looked at me with his icy eyes as if he were made of rock, and only I could reach his heart.
“Don’t you want to kill me anymore?” I asked him as he ran his hand over my body, caressing softly.
“I can kill you anytime, beautiful,” he replied, smiling with his own malice.
I laughed, not because I liked that arrogance, but because I was attracted to feeling loved and in danger at the same time; that was new to me.
“I got you a gift,” he said, standing up and searching for something in the room. He gave me several gift packages, so beautiful that I was sorry to have to break those wrappers.
“There are many,” I blushed; he was always so attentive to me, like a blue prince, only with a past full of murders and intrigue.
