DOVE
In my search for accelerated knowledge, I had to delve into the darkness that the castle guarded. I started by talking to Leticia, quoting her in the external parks, where there were not many eyes to watch over my peace. The place was little attended because the morning was just beginning.
“Good morning, Dove,” my mother-in-law said to me, sitting on one of the benches next to the white rose trellis. The place seemed so beautiful that I didn’t want to spoil it with such disturbing conversations. I also greeted her with more politeness than usual; I needed to be friendly in order to talk.
“Thank you for accepting my invitation,” I smiled.
“I am happy for you, for the baby,” she said, her voice a little muffled; I noticed her discomfort.
“It will be wonderful. I can’t wait to see the baby’s face…” I started to say. In recent days, I was more anxious than ever, waiting for his birth, counting every minute.
