Chapter 33. Hide and Seek

It’s morning in the unknown land. The day just dawned. Lightning flashed across the thick red sky signifying daybreak. The flashes of lightning never seized as it was the source of light during the day. Everything seems quite different here and very strange. In the world Lucas comes from, the day dawns with the risen sun. In the Unknown Land, the day dawns with flashes of lightning across the thick red sky.

Lucas’ gaze was drawn to the flashes of lightning across the thick red sky. “This is strange.” He looks steadily and intently upon the sky.

“We need to keep moving!” said Bonnie.

“Where exactly are we going? I am tired of running!” Lucas stared with a concerned look.

Throughout the night, they have been running, walking, and then running again trying to lose the Cyclux. At least they could do better than looking for a place to hide and rest a while before continuing with their quest.
