Chapter 34. Premonition

Lucas flew into a fit of rage. His eyes glowed blue. His fangs and claws popped out. He started charging toward the Cyclux like a hound charging into battle.

The Cyclux seized Lucas and squeezed him into his four arms.

A blast of white glowing light came out from Lucas’ body. The light shone directly at the Cyclux’s eye making it hard for the creature to see. In defense, the Cyclux tossed Lucas to the ground and at the same time slumped to his knees rubbing his eye. The Cyclux couldn’t see for a few seconds.

When the Cyclux regained his sight, he cast a searing gaze on Lucas. “Impossible,” he mutters under his breath as he sprang back to its feet.

As the Cyclux slowly draws closer to Lucas, Ann, and Bonnie took a defensive position as they both conjured a blue glittering light that flashes lightning. They were ready to strike the Cyclux with a blast known as the ‘clan blast.’
