“Do you think I’m crazy, Drake?”
“Not at all, my darling,” Dracula said as he palmed her cheek. “If you say that you are worried about what Demetrese might do, by all means, stay here and contact Djet, Aset, and Isis.”
“Isis already knows of my concerns about Demetrese. She’s gone to warn Aset and Djet, too. Still? I’m worried I haven’t taught my dear ones enough of the dark arts. It will take great power to ward off Demetrese’s negative magic. He’s been sour since I left, so I wouldn’t put it past him to go after my Aset and Djet.”
“Would you like me to come with you? Just for moral support and to protect you from the wanker. Nothing more.”
