Chapter 17. The Green-Eyed Monster
It had been three long days since he’d caught Lilith with Dracula, and she didn’t bother to return after their date. Nor could he find either of them in the planes of existence. He’d tried to calm himself during these last three days, but with each passing morning, he grew angrier and angrier at her for throwing his love away for her. He’d tried sipping his favorite drink, bourbon, but it didn’t give him solace. Festering while waiting for Lilith to decide to grace him with her appearance wasn’t helping either. He slammed his drink down on the countertop and headed for the earth plane, where he knew he’d get some solace along with some revenge.
