Chapter 49

"Go sit in the back, this purse is especially new." Tanya pets her stupid purse which is sitting in the passenger seat. I roll my eyes and go to sit in the back.

"Where's Megan? We're gonna leave without her if I have to wait another second," Tanya groans and honks her car horn.

"I'm coming!" Megan yells as she runs towards the car and enters it. "Sorry, mom was making sure my lunch was complete."

Tanya doesn't say anything and just drives off. It feels kinda weird being in her car again cause it's been a week since I've driven with them to school. I sigh when I remember how Carl always came to pick me up the same time everyday, drops me off at home and takes me wherever I want to go without complaining.
