Marcus’s POV

“I can’t get that kind of money.” I confessed as I released my grip on her hair and eased back into my seat.

She straightened herself up and rose to her feet immediately.

“I do not care about that but trust me when I say if I don’t get that money tonight, I will tell the press everything. I already have a reporter on standby, do not push me too far Marcus, I will hate to see your family’s achievements go up in flames in one day.” She flashed a reporter’s card in front of me as she grabbed her purse and walked out of my office with her head held high.

I slammed my fist against my desk and tossed the files on the table aside angrily. As if it wasn’t bad enough that I had to deal with Amelia at work, I now had Rose breathing down my neck for a penthouse and double her allowance.
