Chapter 15. Lost That Privilege

Marcus’s POV

It just irritated me that she would choose to spend time with another man when she knew I was waiting out there to have a word with her.

“I think I will let the both of you discuss,” Nolan said as he picked up his phone, “I will send a car to pick you up by seven if that is okay with you.” He added and she smiled at him.

“Of course.”

I didn’t have to be told what exactly was going on here to know that he had probably invited her out for dinner. “It’s a date then” those words echoed in my mind but I waited patiently for Nolan to leave.

He was good looking and a very successful man at that but that didn’t make him better than me. Amelia had always been so hung up on me, she had never taken any man seriously so it angered me to see that she had agreed to go out with him simply because we signed a stupid document.

“You’re not going out with him.” I stated authoritatively as I took my seat on the chair Nolan had just vacated.
