Chapter 13. Send Flowers to Her

Marcus’s POV

“Is there a reason you’re sending roses to that bitch’s office every single day now?” Rose asked, angrily barging into my office for the fifth time this week.

It was now a habit that made me angry and if I had not been in such a good mood, I would have probably done something the both of us would have regretted.

“What part of not coming to my office again did you not understand?” I snapped at her through gritted teeth as I shut the laptop on my desk, angrily.

She was taken aback by my backlash but simply ignored it and took her seat in front of me.

“You didn’t answer my question, why do you keep sending flowers to her office? Don’t you know it makes you look pathetic?” She tried to reach out and touch me but I pulled my hand away from her, sharply.

She was right, I did look pathetic but I just couldn’t help it. After I left her office that day, I was so enraged that so many men had suddenly taken an interest in her so, for some
