Chapter 9. He Save Me Again

Amelia’s POV

Nothing hurt me more than the fact that even after all he had done, Marcus had still tried to intimidate me and didn’t even feel remorseful about it.

He was taken aback when I snapped at him and remained speechless as I walked out on him.

“You bitch!” A familiar voice cried out with so much hate behind me as soon as I had walked close enough to my car in the parking lot downstairs.

I turned around only to find Rose walking towards me with a menacing look on her face and a kitchen knife clutched tightly in her right hand.

“I warned you, didn’t I? I warned you not to mess with me or Marcus, and you just had to do the one thing I warned you never to do.” She seethed.

She sounded really serious, and with a weapon in hand, she was dangerous, so I had to act cautiously so as not to end up hurt. I watched her as she took steps closer and responded with a couple of steps backwards.
