Amelia’s POV

“I know what you did.” Richard said as he walked past me and into my apartment, “You could have informed Nolan about Marcus’s intention, and he would have taken him off the project immediately, but for some reason, you didn’t.”

“Have you been spying on me now?” I rolled my eyes at him and slammed the door shut behind us.

“He is no longer your husband, Amelia. Heck! He was never your husband, so please get past whatever feelings you have for him and get your head in the game.” He cried out with a frustrated groan.

Richard was the one who gave me the information about the Wrights, and I knew why he did that, but for some reason, I couldn’t bring myself to do that to Marcus in the meeting. No matter how hard I tried to hide it, I still cared about him and his feelings, so all I could do was put him in place for the time being by revealing to him that I knew about their current situation.
