Chapter 28. Stolen Money

Fluffy and cotton-white ball clouds covered the entire sky, which seemed to rain anytime sooner. Fortunately, William and Luigi arrived at the hospital with dead air between them since they only talked when needed. Luigi roamed his gaze around the expansive lobby to look for Big John. However, only hospital staff and others he had glimpsed, not him. He was about to approach the nurse in the lobby to ask, but he didn’t proceed as he heard someone calling him.

“Luigi?” A familiar voice came from the right alley.

Luigi tilted his head where the voice came and saw Helen go near where he and William were standing.

“Thank you so much for lending your money to Big John. It helped a lot,” added Helen, who was too cheerful with the money.
