Chapter 27. Caught at Night
In the corridors of St. Matthew Hospital, heeded a scream from a woman inside the delivery room; it was the loudest scream she had ever made in her entire life, feeling enormous pain and felt like she was on the cliff of death.
“AAHH!” shouted Jane, Big John’s sister and the one who was giving birth. Her face couldn’t be explained, and there were lots of life support around her, machines and tubes connecting to her body.
The doctors suggested that Jane undergo a Cesarean operation as it was for the best and to help them save the child inside her womb. Her pregnancy was entangled, and it was the only choice to keep them alive. However, they were all anxious because Jane didn’t have any insurance to aid her operation, even pennies to pay the bills at the hospital, and she couldn’t afford to undergo a Cesarean procedure.
