Chapter 7. Childhood Abuse
“Go on then. I am giving you my blessing to do so. If you want to let yourself be killed by El Capitan and his force. Without your powers, you will be done in a snap. Do you think that El Capitan was that easy to kill? If he is, then we will not be hiding here in the woods!”
It reverberated throughout the room, making the crowd silent, including Clover, who was in the front, and jaws had plummeted. She couldn’t react the way the Head Guardian said it, which she thought was a good statement and wouldn’t negate her.
While Rendall rolled his gaze around, seeing the members didn’t expect his statement. He recalled something that had happened a few nights ago.
In one camp room, there was one long table and wooden chairs surrounding it. The elders settled in their designated seats, including Rendall in the top corner of the table.
“We are worried Clover will only be putting herself in trouble,” said one of the elders on the left side table, leaned against the chair
