Chapter 78. Another Surprise

Peter POV

This was the longest sleep I’ve ever had in my entire life.

I didn’t feel anything at all. I just felt like I was drifting in a gentle motion, like clouds moving slowly when the wind blew.

I felt comfortable and deep. I didn’t think about anything either, just felt comfortable in my situation.

Then after a while, I started to hear toneless sounds around me. I didn’t know what the sounds were, nor did I understand what the sounds meant. They sounded intermittently, softly, like the hum of a computer that had been turned on for a long time, then disappeared again and became silent.

After that, the sounds became more frequent and began to sound clearer. I guess, my comfort began to be disturbed when I felt that I recognized the voices.
