Chapter 27. The Secret Plan

The next day, Jordan arrived at the office and greeted Raika with a kiss on the lips and handed her a red rose. He checked that the engagement ring was on her finger and once he was satisfied, he went into Brendon's office, where he was meeting with the investors in the hospital he wanted to build.

Jordan sat down and watched Brendon's gaze on each investor's proposal. And he knew that his friend wasn't happy with any of them. He noticed that Brendon began to get frustrated, but the change in his demeanor was subtle and the investors didn't notice.

Jordan remained silent until the last man left, after which Brendon said he would think about and review each proposal and then give an answer.
