Chapter 13. Blood Is Thicker Than Water
The elevator door was wide open, allowing Agneta to breathe a sigh of relief. Before Agneta's feet could take a step, the elevator doors closed again, and Agneta glared when Davero pressed the button for the top floor.
"What do you want?" Agneta screamed, already very annoyed, because she was tired of dealing with Davero.
"Leave Aiden!"
"Will never!" answered Agneta no less sharply.
"Once again, I warn Agneta, leave Aiden or—"
"Or what? Or what, Davero? What other threats are you going to give me?" Agneta screamed until Dave was speechless. "Get out of the way and let me get rid of you! Let my life be peaceful without your disturbance, Davero!"
"Only in your dreams," Dave said emphatically. "You are mine, you are only mine, and always will be, Agneta!"
"In your dreams too, Mr. Davero!" retorted Agneta fiercely. "How crazy are you without a woman? Until your heart forces and seizes your own cousin's lover!"
