Chapter 38. Dancing in the Rain
The next morning when I come downstairs, I see a wedding invitation card lying on the table. Wait? Already? I took out the card from the basket, and it clearly said, ‘Jacob weds Mia,’ and the date was this Saturday, just five days away. Ben comes up from behind me, hugging me while resting his chin on my shoulder.
“Didn’t he ask you to be his best woman?” He asks.
“Ugh, yes, he is literally getting married this Saturday. How am I supposed to plan everything in such a short time?” I ask, rolling my eyes at the absurdity of this.
“I will try to help you as much as you want,” he says.
“Good morning, love birds.” Charlotte chimes.

“Good morning, Charlotte,” he says, pulling back, but one of his arms was still around my waist.
