Vera lunged forward and grabbed the collar of Monica’s shirt.

"What did I ever do to you to deserve this? Just tell me! What have I done that made you treat me so badly, Monica?" she yelled, shaking her.

"You did a lot of things wrong! Now get your hands off me! You don’t know anything about my life!" Monica shouted, pushing Vera’s hands off.

Jack stepped in just as Vera moved to grab Monica again. He held her back firmly while she struggled against him, throwing punches at his chest to break free.
