Chapter 6

"Aren't you in New York?" My eyebrow went up.

"Nope, Richmond. It's a family matter," she explained.

I told her, "You really should have called earlier." If she had told me sooner, I could have handled my relationship with Crystal better.

"Why worry the multimillionaire doctor and his harem?" She laughed and added, "No, I'm fine. In ten minutes, I'll be there."

"What sort of intro am I going for?"

She said, "Uh, cheating wife," in response.

"Done," I said, hopping in my car to get where she was waiting.

As she stated, she was at a restaurant near the medical center. I may have been in my scrubs, but I felt and looked great.
